You know those get rich quick schemes you hear about incessantly on TV and via unwanted email? This might or might not be one of them. Or it might be a way to get a few extra bucks in your pocket, provided you have a good network of friends who want to do the same.
I’m going to be participating in the content side of Two Plus Seven, a new internet information provider which incidentally has a straight line compensation plan. Straight line compensation plans reportedly work differently from pyramid plans, but the pitches of these things make it difficult to absorb the information with any certainty. A sister company of Two Plus Seven which markets media sharing has seen great success in making money for its subscribers. I just don’t know how I feel about this kind of thing. I know one or two people in real life who’ve made their careers on pyramid schemes (I know that word has a pejorative implication, but there’s nothing else to call it, really), but the pitches always turn me off immediately.
I think if they used a softer sell and appealed to the logical sides of our brains they might have more success with sensible people.
So count me among the UNsensible for the moment, because I’m going to throw my hat in for $27/month to see if I can make any money on the straight line side as I work on the content side.
If you are at all interested in signing up to see if you too can make any money at this, please don’t hesitate to contact me or comment here for a sponsor code. I will be updating with information on whether or not I actually make any money on this, so you can use me as your guinea pug.
