It’s glum. It’s gloomy. It’s 33℉ and drizzling. Exactly the kind of weather that sends me back to the Buddhist canon to get a grip on the concept of impermanence, and the fact that external circumstances have nothing to do with one’s internal quest for equanimity. Everything changes. The world really has nothing to do with you, Kim, only YOU can effect your inner acceptance or denial of circumstances.
That being said, I choose to find a little light and color today for my blog. I asked permission to use some stunning paintings and have not heard back from the painter, so instead, on this gloomy day I choose to offer this gift of color, light, movement, love.
